Farhan excels for UGC

KARACHI, Jan 14: Tail-ender Farhan Iqbal hit a defiant 52 to help University Grants Commission (UGC) to take slender nine runs lead over Servis Industries in the Patrons Trophy grade-II tie at UBL Sports Complex Ground “A” Monday.

Farhan hit just two boundaries in his 102 minutes stay at the crease as UGC made 181 in their first innings in reply to Servis Industries total of 172.

UGC were 170 for seven in their second innings at close on the second day of their three-day match. UGC now enjoy 179 runs lead with three wickets and match heading towards an exciting finish.
