LAHORE: Governor Chaudhry Sarwar has given the interim charge of Vice Chancellor of the Punjab Tianjin University of Technology, Lahore, to University of Engineering and Technology (UET) VC Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar.

According to a notification, in exercise of powers conferred upon him under Sub-Section (9) of Section 14 of the Punjab Tianjin University of Technology Lahore Act of 2018 read with item no 11 of part (a) of Third Schedule of the Punjab Government Rules of Business, 2011, the governor/chancellor is pleased to appoint Prof Dr Sarwar as acting vice chancellor of the Punjab Tianjin University of Technology, Lahore, until the appointment of the vice-chancellor or the expiry of six months which is earlier on March 11, 2020.
