SARGODHA: Eight patients of dengue virus were admitted to the DHQ teaching hospital.

Besides, more than 50 places having larva have been identified. The Municipal Corporation has not taken any precautionary measure to control dengue virus.

The MC staff has shown its inability to control spread of dengue larva on the pretext of shortage of funds.

An employee of the MC said this institution was going bankrupt due to recruitment of employees on a political basis.

Twenty of the 28 patients were discharged from BVH

It is alleged that sewerage water is being used for growing vegetables. The vehicles used for lifting debris and filth are parked in front of office of municipality though these can be made operational by spending petty amount.

There is no arrangement of disposal of waste and filth that are being thrown on city outskirts causing inconvenience to people.

BAHAWALPUR: Twenty of the 28 dengue patients were discharged from the isolation ward of the BVH emergency after their condition improved on Sunday.

According to the BVH doctors, the number of dengue patients rose to 28. However, as the condition of the admitted patients improved, twenty were discharged.
