Sindh, Punjab in final

KARACHI, July 31: Sindh and Punjab qualified for the final of National junior softball championship on points at Polo ground on Saturday. In the final round matches Sindh easily overcame Balochistan 13-4 and Islamabad 12-4 home run while Punjab defeated NWFP 16-5 and Azad Kashmir 10-2 home runs, respectively.

Farhan Zahid (5 HR), Kashif (4 HR), Ahsan Dars (4 HR), Tehseen Dars (3 HR) and Ghulam Akbar (3 HR) were the main scorer for Sindh.

Adnan Malik (6 HR), Ahsan (5 HR), Abdul Rauf (3 HR) and Kashif (3 HR) contributed for Punjab.—APP
