KARACHI: Two teenage Pakistani cueists conjured up their respective third straight victories to advance into the knockout round of the World U-16 Snooker Championship in the Russian city of Tyumen on Wednesday.
According to results, national U-16 champion Hamza Ilyas registered a 3-1 victory over Russian cueist Aidar Khansov 66-10, 61-34, 29-45, 55-14 while Mohammad Umar Khan also blanked Russian Valentin Terentjev straight 62-26, 71-2, 64-7.
Hamza and Umar play their last group matches on Thursday.
