ISLAMABAD, July 29: The men’s singles quarterfinals line-up in the Staff Welfare Running Trophy badminton tournament was decided here at the CRA Community Centre, says a press release. Those making the last eight were Ashfaq Mahmood, Kashif Majeed, Dr. Abid, Jahanzeb, Irfan, Asif Saleem, Bahadur Ali and Shuja.

RESULTS:

Men’s singles: Ashfaq Mahmood bt Hammad 15-6, 15-7, Dr. Abid bt Haroon 15-5, 9-15, 15-11, Jahanzeb bt Noman 15-6, 15-10, Kashif Majeed bt Nisar Ahmed 15-7, 15-9, Bahadur Ali bt Haroon 15-4, 15-3, Irfan bt Abdul Rehman 15-5, 15-7, Asif Saleem bt Aneel 15-13, 15-10, Shuja bt Kashif Hamayun 15-12, 15-10.

Men’s doubles: Waheed-Imran bt Umar-Imran 15-12, 15-11, Naeem- Kamran bt Haroon-Usman 15-13, 14-17, 15-11, Asif Saleem-Athar bt M. Umar-Shahid 15-2, 15-4, Bahadur Ali-Qamar bt Asghar-Pervaiz 15-2, 15-4, Imran-Irfan bt A.Rehman-Rauf 15-9, 15-13.
