KHUZDAR: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has urged sardars and elders to play their role in resolving tribal feuds.

Taking to newsmen after offering fateha for Nawab Amanullah Khan Zarakzai, who was killed along with his grandson and two others recently, the chief minister said that all the suspects nominated in the case would be arrested soon.

Provincial ministers Zia Langove, Zamarak Khan Piralizai, Mir Nasibullah Marri, Mohammad Khan Lehri and Ms Bushra Rind accompanied the chief minister.

While condoling the death of Nawab Zarakzai with his elder brother, Mr Alyani said in addition to police and Levies force the help of other institutions would also be sought for the arrest of the killers.

Immediate arrest of Zarakzai’s killers assured

He said that the investigation into the murder was under progress.

“Nobody is above the law including those who have been nominated in the FIR,” he said.

In reply to a question, the chief minister said peace had been restored in Balochistan after a long struggle and unforgettable sacrifices of people, police and security forces.

“Balochistan has been bleeding because of tribal conflicts. It is the need of the hour that tribal chieftains and elders take initiatives for the solution of tribal feuds and disputes,” he said.

Mr Alyani said that his government had decided to announce 500 new posts in the Counter- Terrorism Department (CTD) to increase its human resource capabilities.

“Our forces have been sacrificing their lives in order to ensure peaceful environment in Balochistan,” he added.

The chief minister directed authorities concerned to introduce a specific text book and testing service for new recruitments in the CTD.
