Badin receives rain

BADIN, July 29: Badin on Thursday evening received rain which broke the long spell of heat. It started drizzling at 8pm on Thursday, continuing into the night. Heavy downpour started at 8am on Friday which got down to intermittent drizzle, continuing till 10am.

Power supply went off with the first drop of rain on Thursday. It was restored at 2am on Friday, causing enormous suffering to the people who could not sleep the whole night.

Power supply was again cut off at 5am on Friday. It was restored at 11am.
