KARACHI, July 29: A central committee member of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party, Mr Gulzar Soomro, was released on Friday from Karachi central prison after two years.

Talking to Dawn after his release, the STPP leader said despite odds, his party would continue its struggle for the rights of Sindh, adding “we would in way compromise on principles.”

He urged the rulers to recognise the rights of Sindh and stop subjugating Sindhis as according to him “Pakistan’s future depends on rulers’ policy about Sindh.”
