LANDI KOTAL: Two people were killed in separate incidents, while two children suffered injuries in a car accident in Khyber tribal district on Thursday.

The police of Jamrud area told Dawn that unidentified men killed Khush Rang of Shah Kas area and threw the body on the roadside.

They said they had begun investigation but the reason for the murder hadn’t been ascertained.

The police also said robbers stabbed drug pusher Noor Shad to death in Rekiyalai village of Jamrud area on Wednesday night. They said the drug pusher was killed after he resisted the robbers’ bid to loot drugs.

Also, two minor children were injured after a speeding car they travelled in fell into a ravine near Khuni Dhand area in Landi Kotal.

They were shifted to a local hospital, while the driver was unhurt.

Meanwhile, a housewife suffered critical injuries after a pressure cooker exploded in her house in Ashrafkhel area of Landi Kotal.

He was admitted to a local hospital.
