MUZAFFARABAD, July 26: The office of the accountant-general Azad Kashmir has made arrangements for payment of salaries to government employees through a computerized salary payment system.

The system has been launched from the central office in Muzaffarabad and in all district offices.

Arrangements have been completed for the payment of salaries to government officials on the basis of new pay scale through computerized system.

Gazetted and non-gazetted public servants will benefit from new pay scales and get increased salaries from the month of July.

The payments will be made through computerized system.

The AJK government has directed different banks and treasuries to ensure the payment of enhanced pension to the pensioners. —APP
