PESHAWAR: Pakistan Army and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) won their matches of the National Challenge Cup in contrasting styles here at the Tehmas Khan Football Stadium on Monday.

Army barely scraped past Pakistan Football Federation Tigers 1-0 while CAA romped past Pakistan Railways 6-0 with Mohammad Waheed scoring all the goals in a remarkable performance.

PFF Tigers had kept Army at bay for 90 minutes until they were undone by Jamil Ahmed’s goal.

In the other game, Waheed scored in the fourth, 45th, 60th, 71st, 78th and 79th minutes in a comprehensive win for CAA.
