INF assures support for Pakistan netball

LIVERPOOL: The International Netball Federation (INF) on Friday assured to make its best efforts to develop netball in Pakistan and also appreciated the hard work put in by netball officials to popularise the sport in the region.

In the International Netball Federation Congress, being held in Liverpool this week, two of Pakistan’s leading officials, Mudassar Arain, President Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF), and Zafar Iqbal Awan, Chairman PNF presented a detailed report of netball activities in Pakistan which was appreciated by INF.

Liz Nicholl from England was elected as the new president of the International Netball Federation at the Congress and her name was also endorsed by the two PNF delegates who later congratulated her on her victory.
