QUETTA, July 25: Lahore registered another victory when they outplayed Quetta by 96 runs in the first triangular women cricket series match played at Nawab Bugti Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Winning the toss Lahore elected to bat first and scored 164 runs for the loss of four wickets in 25 overs. Sana Javed, Razia Malik and Ambreen Nawaz batted well for Lahore and scored 55, 34 and 30 runs.

Quetta once again failed in their chase and could muster only 68 runs for nine wickets in the quota of 25 overs. The Quetta score included 28 extras as Lahore bowlers bowled 24 wides.

Mariam Butt and Sabahat Rashid bagged three wickets each giving 11 and 10 runs in four and five overs while Uzma Butt captured two wickets for 14 runs in three overs.

Sana Javed was declared Woman-of-the Match for her excellent batting and for two stumpings.
