ISLAMABAD: Defeating their compatriots, Pakistan’s Huzaifa Ibrahim and Ashab Irfan clinched U-15 and U-17 titles, respectively at the Borneo Junior Open squash tournament in Sarawak, Malaysia on Saturday.

In the U-15 final, Huzaifa beat Humam Ahmed 11-5, 11-4, 11-6 while Ashab overcame Waleed Khalil 11-8, 13-15, 11-2, 11-7 in the U-17 decider.

Both the winners secured gold medals while the losers earned silver medals.

Players from Australia, Malaysia, Qatar, India, US, Thailand, Singapore and Pakistan participated in the event.
