THIS year eight people received honorary degrees from the Oxford University. The list includes the name of Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the pride of Pakistan, and the nephew of Qawwali legend Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (who he dedicated his degree to).

Rahat has entertained and mesmerised billions of people through his melodious voice. The singer has no comparison or competitor in the entire subcontinent. He stands tall in music industry. Rahat has set a fine example of reaching the top of the ladder through tremendous hard work, dedication and concentration.

Bravo Ustaad, you have done a great job.
