THIS refers to poor conditions at Patiala House, which is the hub of activity for CSS students who come here from all over the country.

The most alarming and disturbing situation is that people are building more floors on the old buildings for the lust of money. There are no checks by the Lahore Development Authority or any other authority.

This can cause a mishap, leading to the loss of life. There is no space to walk in the streets owing to the parking of bikes and encroachments. This area even does not have a single dispensary or a doctor. The milk shops are selling contaminated milk.

This area is located in an area where we have some important places such as Governor House, a five-star hotel, government officers’ residences and Mall Road.

The authorities concerned should look into these issues.
