KARACHI, July 22: Founder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Altaf Hussain has declared that there is no place for extremists in Sindh and on the day of election to the local bodies, they would be wiped out by Haq Parast candidates. He was addressing party activists telephonically at the ‘Nine Zero’ on Thursday night. Mr Hussain commended their efforts towards the victory of the MQM-supported candidates.

He hoped that party activists would continue to work with the same zeal in the second and third phases of the election and continue to serve the masses.

He also congratulated those who have returned unopposed in the election. He said the victory of Haq Parast candidates would establish that Sindh was not the abode of extremists, but of peace-loving and tolerant people.

Mr Hussain cautioned that attempts were being made by some elements to breach the prevailing peace in order to get the LB polls postponed.
