ISLAMABAD, Jan 13: PPP (Sherpao) said on Sunday that in the present situation, politicians instead of criticizing each other should forge national unity.

In a statement issued here on Sunday a PPP-S spokesman said the politicians would get enough chance to cross their swords in the forthcoming general elections, which can be delayed but not denied.

The spokesman, Miran Shah, categorically refuted the allegations that Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao had returned to Pakistan after striking a deal with the military government.

He said Mr Sherpao’s political opponents were scared of his popularity and had resorted to a vilification campaign against him.
