SUKKUR: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued the schedule for the by-election on NA-205 Ghotki seat that has fallen vacant after the death of Sardar Ali Mohammad Mahar, the federal minister for narcotics control.

An ECP notification stated that the by-election would be held on July 18. The nomination papers would be received on June 12 to 15 and the scrutiny of papers would be held on June 18.

The final list of candidates would be issued on June 26 and election symbols to them would be allotted on June 28, it further stated.
