PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electric Supply Company on Monday announced that smooth power supply would be ensured on Eidul Fitr.

According to a statement, a crisis management cell at Wapda House Peshawar would play active role to rectify any kind of fault. The crisis management cell would remain operational under the supervision of the Pesco chief executive officer, Dr Mohammad Amjad Khan during Eid holidays from June 4 to June 7.

The Pesco chief will supervise the performance of the cell and will issue necessary instructions to complete the restoration work without any delay. It was stated that all necessary arrangement had been made to keep the power supply smooth during Eidul Fitr holidays.

Necessary equipment has been provided to all Pesco sub-divisions and complaint centres so that emergency can be tackled promptly. The Pesco chief directed the field formations to ensure continued power supply during Eid holidays.

Besides, the circle, divisional and sub-divisional complaint cells of Pesco would also remain in operation to tackle any emergency.

“In case of any emergency, the consumers are requested to contact their concerned local complaint offices for emergent attendance of their complaints and in case of delayed response contact crisis management cell on telephone numbers 091-9212010 and 091-9212028. The consumers can also lodge their complaints on 118 or through SMS to 8118,” said the statement.
