Arrangements for Waris Shah moot

LAHORE, July 19: The steering committee of the World Punjab Congress met here on Tuesday to review arrangements for the international Waris Shah conference being held from July 22 to 24. Intellectual and novelist Fakhar Zaman was in the chair. Delegates from India, the UK, the US, Canada and other countries will attend the moot besides moving to the tomb of the Sufi poet in Jandiala Sher Khan for a “heer khwani” contest. — Staff Reporter
