SHEIKHUPURA: Two minor sisters died while the third one sustained serious injuries in the Vandiala Dyal Shah locality early on Saturday.
They were asleep in a room of their small house when its roof collapsed on them due to heavy rain.
The three sisters were buried under the debris. Neighbourers after hearing the bang rushed to the site and got retrieved the girls from the rubble.
Mehak, 11, and Aqsa (eight) were retrieved dead while Amina (four) suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital.
Some locals said the family, due to financial problems, could not get repaired the dilapidated roof of the house.
