RAWALPINDI: The woman who was allegedly sexually assaulted by four people, including three police constables, recorded her statement with a magistrate on Friday.

Meanwhile, the physical remand of the four suspects was extended for four days.

The woman along with her lawyers appeared in the court of Civil Judge Sumaira Alamgeer and recorded her statement.

She alleged that the police officials kidnapped and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint. Later, they dropped her outside her hostel in Satellite Town.

“I have been victimised, I want justice,” she said.

On the other hand, the suspects, who were on a five-day remand custody, were produced in the court of Civil Judge Arshad Malik on completion of their physical remand.

The police requested the court to extend the physical remand for five days but the court sent the suspects on remand for four days.

As a part of the investigation, the police have decided to conduct a polygraph test of the four men as well as the victim.

The woman, who is associated with a call centre in Satellite Town, had gone to Bahria Town Phase 8 along with her friend and was having Sehri on 16 May in their car when another car pulled up.

According to the woman, four people stepped down from that vehicle and dragged her and her friend out.

The four men then forced the woman into their car and drove away. She said the car was stopped on a roadside at a deserted place where the four men raped her.

Later, the suspects dropped her near her hostel at 4am and fled, she said, adding they also snatched Rs30,000 and a gold ring from her.
