HIV cases

Published May 21, 2019

IT is disappointing to see HIV positive cases in such huge numbers in Larkana and in its adjoining areas. More alarming is the fact that most of these cases are of children.

The Sindh government’s tall claims of providing healthcare have proved wrong. Precautionary measures should be taken to stop the spread of this deadly disease.

The gravity of the situation also demands screening such cases throughout province by the Sindh government. Besides, an awareness campaign should be launched.

It should be ensured that all doctors at government healthcare facilities are qualified and follow the professional code of conduct.
