PML-N, MMA join hands

MANDI BAHAUDDIN, July 17: The district political scene witnessed a big change on Saturday evening when the PML-N and MMA joined hands against the ruling PML for the upcoming local bodies elections.

The meeting in this regard was held at the residence of former tehsil nazim and PML-N leader, Mohammad Shahzad Anjum, which was attended by Punjab MMA secretary-general Allama Syed Mohammad Mehfooz Mashhadi, MMA district president Syed Ijaz Husain Khayyali, JI district leaders Riaz Ahmad Warraich, Khawaja Ehsaan Elahi, Ehsaanullah Sahi, PML-N leader Saeed Azhar Gogi and others.

The meeting discussed matters relating to the local government polls.

Later, addressing a press conference, the MMA and PML-N leaders said both the political parties had formed an electoral alliance.
