New trailer for The Lion King released

Scar sends Simba away from Pride Rock in the newest trailer for Disney’s upcoming remake of The Lion King. The clip features Chiwetel Ejiofor voicing Scar, the uncle of Simba as he sets his sights on becoming king.

The trailer features classic moments from the original Lion King released in 1994, including the animated film’s stampede sequence and the montage of Simba growing up alongside Timon and Pumbaa before returning to Pride Rock.

The Lion King, from director Jon Favreau, is scheduled to arrive in theatres on July 19. The new version features a photo-realistic animation style, the same style Favreau used on his 2016 remake of The Jungle Book.


The Addams Family in an animated film

The clip for the animated movie The Addams Family has recently been released, in which the iconic creepy family is choosing to move into a haunted mansion that is possessed by an angry ghost.

Other members of The Addams Family also make appearances, including Gomez and Morticia’s children Wednesday (Chloe Grace Moretz) and Pugsley (Finn Wolfhard), along with Uncle Fester (Nick Kroll).

The Addams Family, from directors Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan, is set to arrive in theatres on Halloween.

“Get ready to snap your fingers! The Addams Family is back on the big screen in the first animated comedy about the kookiest family on the block. Funny, outlandish, and completely iconic, the Addams Family redefines what it means to be a good neighbour,” reads the synopsis.


Camila Cabello in new Cinderella movie

The ever green Cinderella fairy tale is getting a new face, Camila Cabello. The

22-year-old singer will make her first film debut in a reimagining of the story at Sony Pictures.

Cabello will play an integral role in creating the music for the film as well. The movie will be music-oriented and give a modern take on the Cinderella story.

Cabello came to fame with the girl group Fifth Harmony. She released her debut solo album, Camila, in January 2018, and is known for the singles “Havana,” “Never Be the Same” and “Consequences.”
