ISLAMABAD, July 13: Higher Education Commission (HEC) is to hire over 30 qualified coaches to be posted at several universities. These coaches will help raise the standard of sports in universities. “There is dire need to provide universities with qualified coaches in different sports,” said an HEC official.

The coaches will be hired for the disciplines of athletics, swimming, tennis, table tennis, badminton and golf.

HEC has offered lucrative salaries for these coaches whose selection will be finalised shortly. These coaches will be hired on contract basis.—APP
