SIALKOT: Police claim to have arrested a couple for killing their son over a dispute.

According to the FIR, Sehar Sarfraz Bibi contracted second marriage with Tariq who had frequent quarrels with her first husband Ali Afzaal. Sehar and Tariq strangled four-year-old son Saram two days ago over what police said dispute with Afzaal.

Police arrested the couple and sent them behind the bars.

CASE: The Daska police have registered a case against trader Muhammad Athar Butt, Maulana Fazal Haq, Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan local emir, and painter Tahir under 16 MPO for writing and displaying banners in favour of Khadim Hussain Rizvi.

The city police registered the case (No 371/2019) on the report of sub-inspector Jamshaid Akhtar and arrested Ather Butt for displaying these banners. They said all such banners had been removed from the city in a bid to avert any sabotage on Shab-i-Baraat.

Butt said he displayed these banners on the request of Maulana Fazal Haq and had these prepared by Tahir.
