Zeeshan emerges sole leader

KARACHI, Jan 12: Former national champion, Zeeshan Ali, emerged as sole leader of Sindh Amateur Golf - 2002 - when he carded another round of par to finish the second day with a total of 144 at DHA Golf Club Saturday.

Two strokes adrift in second place was DHA’s Karar Hussain who also shot a par round of 72 for a total of 146. He is followed by Aly Rana and Dr. Aimal Zaman four strokes behind in joint third place with 148.

Lurking behind them are Taimur Hussain, Ali Haji and Ibrahim Ahmed five strokes behind the leader Zeeshan.

In the net category Karar leads the field with 136, followed closely by Jalil Anwar (137) and Aly Rana (148).

Haroon Khalon with a gross 77 held a four stroke advantage over M.Z.K. Burki in the Seniors.
