Fazaia scheme

Published April 14, 2019

THIS is with reference to the letter on Fazaia housing schedme (April 4) with reference to an advertisement (Feb 17) from the Anti-Corruption Establishment, East Zone, Karachi, captioned: ‘Fraud alert’.

I am also an allottee of this scheme and have paid 16 instalments besides the down payment. I totally agree with the letter writer.

On April, 5, 2019 I became successful after a strenuous effort to talk to the project director of Fazaia Housing Scheme, Karachi, Air Commodore Ijaz Hussain.

He categorically stated that, despite being a responsible PAF officer, he could not help me get my money back. In the light of this discussion, I am of the view that allottees should not be misled into believing that PAF is not involved in this project.

They are true owners of this scheme and people like me invested in the name of our Shaheens.

I request the Prime Minister, the Federal Ombudsman, the National Accountability Bureau, the Chief Justice of Pakistan and responsible PAF officials to help the allottees like me get their money back.
