LAHORE: Doctors at the Sharif Medical City (SMC) on Tuesday examined former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Speaking to reporters after conducting checkup, Mr Sharif’s personal physician Dr Adnan Khan said pacemaker should be implanted in his body permanently to regulate his heartbeat.
“The roadmap for his health has not yet finalised. We cannot tell how long his treatment will continue,” he said.
Mr Sharif was released from the Kot Lakhpat jail on March 27 in Al-Azizia Steel Mills case after the Supreme Court granted him bail for six weeks allowing him to get medical treatment from doctors of his choice in the country.

Implanting pacemaker is a minor routine procedure that can be done in Pakistan, but Nawaz Sharif will use this an excuse to travel to London and probably will not come back. In simple words, he is saying 'catch me if you can' and bye bye Pakistan. Don't let him get away using his minor health issue as an excuse to avoid serving his jail sentence - set an example, otherwise, people like Asif Zardari will use such excuses in the future. (Gharib Awam ki Awaz).

Big time crook supported by crook doctors. Of course those doctors were beneficiaries of his looted benevolence.
Put him back in jail unless he is ready to return the loot.

Let the courts decide if our experts are good enough to install pacemakers with enough guarantees.

Dont worry folks, I have been working to alert GMC and the private doctors authority in UK who could potentially do it....it is a crime in UK now to engage in any financial dealing with anyone who has committed/suspected of money laundering....this man is a convicted criminal....no professional would touch him with a barge pole even if he offers them a billion dollars.....wait and see.
