Import duty on sugar goes

Published July 10, 2005

ISLAMABAD, July 9: The CBR has exempted the import of raw sugar from whole of customs duty. The decision was taken through a customs notification issued here on Saturday by amending the budgetary notification of SRO567 of 2005.

Through the same notification, CBR also exempted whole of customs duty on import of wheat flour (PCT1101.0010), which would be subjected to certification by the ministry of food, agriculture and livestock (Minfal). The wheat flour was placed at serial no 108A in the notification SRO567 of 2005.
