LAHORE: A large audience enjoyed the music session featuring both instrumentalists and singers by Alhamra Unplugged Season 2 team at Alhamra Art Centre, The Mall, on Wednesday.

A bunch of young male, female singers and instrumentalists enthralled a large audience for some two hours. There was a large red flex in the backdrop on the stage bearing faces of performing singers and instrumentalists. There was live orchestra but stage was a bit messed up. There was a need to improve stage management and stepping of performers on the stage.

Most of them performed well. The show opened with the performance of instrumentalists who were playing on different music instruments. Later came the line of singers who enthralled audience with contemporary, Sufi, and English songs. Popular songs such as Chahp Talak Cheen Li, Akhyian Udikdiyan, My Heart Goes on and Yar Daddi Ishq Atish Laie Aye made people stand in the hall who danced to these songs.

Most of the singers such as Salma Sabir, Rehan, Hassan and others came up with popular cover songs.
