Arrest of killers demanded

QUETTA, July 8: Leaders and activists of the Pakistan Workers Party staged a demonstration demanding arrest of the killers of its Kalat district president who was assassinated on Tuesday night. The protesters led by party leader Nasrullah Khan Kakar assembled in front of the Quetta Press Club on Friday and raised slogans against the government and police for not arresting the assailants.

Similarly, on Thursday strike was observed in Kalat town to protest against the killing of Abdul Khaliq Mengal who was murdered by unknown armed motorcyclists on Tuesday night. Speaking to demonstrators’ Nasrullah Kakar blamed the Balochistan Liberation Army and nationalists for killing party member.
