A tribute to veteran journalist, editor and publisher Altaf Hasan Qureshi, the book begins with an autobiographical essay by Qureshi and takes a look at the establishment of the popular monthly magazine Urdu Digest, which was first published by Qureshi in 1959 in Lahore and is still going strong, followed by essays by renowned literary personalities on their association with, and perceptions of, Qureshi.

This treatise on the science of life tackles a wide range of subjects, such as cosmology, metaphysics, natural sciences, philosophy, literature, poetry and the fine arts. The author, who also conducts a series of lectures entitled The Science of Life, that airs on the United Kingdom-based private channel Ahlebait TV, previously published the book Nairang-i-Haqeeqat on similar scientific, metaphysical and spiritual issues.
