KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh claimed to have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in ‘honour killing’ of a man in Baldia Town last month.

On Feb 21, the body of a man identified as Rab Nawaz was recovered from a graveyard in Afridi Colony in Baldia Town, said a spokesperson for the paramilitary force. The body bore bullet marks on the head.

The Rangers conducted an intelligence-based operation in Madina Colony and detained two suspects, Sher Khan, alias Shaikhu; and Zahir Husain, added the spokesperson.

During the initial probe, it transpired that the murdered man had allegedly “kidnapped” and married a sister of Sher Khan.
