PESHAWAR: The UNHCR and the UN Women will jointly organise a painting and handicraft exhibition here on Tuesday (today).

Nariman Bisma, external relations associate of UNHCR’s sub-office here said that the exhibition was in connection with the International Women’s Day observed globally to recognise women’s contributions and celebrate their social, economic, cultural and political achievements.

This year’s theme was ‘think equal, build smart and innovate for change’.

The exhibition will provide an opportunity to the home-based women workers and Afghan refugees, specifically women, to display their handmade crafts not only to exhibit but also sell them out.
