LAHORE: Raiwind police on Sunday arrested three suspects allegedly involved in rape and murder of a boy three days ago.

Police said body of Zeeshan, a student of Class X, was recovered from a ground in Raiwind City three days ago. The boy was apparently bricked to death, while the body also carried stab wounds.

Zeeshan had left his house in the evening to meet his friend as per his routine. Autopsy showed he was also raped, the police added.

Saddar Division SP Mian Rashid said three suspects — Shahid, Hannan and Zeeshan -- all friends of the victim, were taken into custody.

During interrogation the suspects confessed to have raped and killed the boy after luring him to a deserted place, the SP said.
