Talented youth

Published February 28, 2019

NAEEM Dilpul is a lecturer at the National College of Arts in Lahore. He hails from Turbat, Balochistan, and has won the hearts of millions with his voice and folk music.

What brought his to people’s notice was a video that has been doing rounds on social media. It amazes me to think about how talented our youth is but sadly, they do not get the encouragement and support they deserve.

When he was interviewed by a local news channel, Dilpul said that he was interested in singing and promoting the folk traditions and modern music.

I think the government should support this young man and so should we.
