KOHAT: A serving army man killed his brother and injured sister-in-law in Darra Adamkhel tribal tehsil on Sunday.

An official report said the accused murdered his brother and injured his wife over a land dispute inside their house in Bashkhel area of Sheraki tribe.

The security forces arrested the accused and sent him to the lockup after filing the murder case.

The body was taken to hospital for autopsy and then handed over to family.

Meanwhile, the traffic wardens seized on Sunday 30 substandard CNG cylinders installed in vehicles despite a weeklong awareness drive.

The crackdown was ordered by district police officer Wahid Mehmood after receiving reports of fire incidents in vehicles. The operation was carried mostly on inter-district routes and in the city.

The transporters were warned against fixing substandard CNG kits in vehicles.
