SARGODHA, July 3: Despite the replacement of nazims with administrators, most of nazims have not returned their official vehicles. According to reports, tehsil nazims, including Dr Liaquat Ali Khan, Mian Naseer Ahmed and Rana Munawar Ghaus of Sargodha, Bhalwal and Sillanwali, respectively, are misusing official vehicles.

Similarly, former district nazim Malik Amjad Ali Noon, who had converted the Circuit House into the district nazim secretariat, is still using the entire building and keeping his record there.

His three private secretaries are busy sorting out the record. It is alleged that secretaries have been minted money by misusing the office of the district nazim.

It is further alleged that Malik Amjad Ali Noon had occupied more than four rooms and Circuit House’s main hall for his personal use while three rooms were in use of his private secretaries, including Chaudhry Sajjad and Tassawar Ali.

The district nazim was reportedly only depositing charges of a single room and that, too, for only 15 days a month.
