MANSEHRA, July 3: The charge of 35 union councils of Mansehra tehsil was handed over to the Tehsil Officer Regulation of the TMA on Saturday by the DCO on the orders of the provincial government.

ACO Javed Khan visited the TMA office and inspected the office of the former tehsil nazim. A list of furniture and other equipment was prepared.

On the direction of the DCO, the newly appointed care-taker Danish Iqbal was also given the charge of former nazim’s vehicle.

The telephones of the tehsil nazim office and of the union councils were given only the incoming call facility through the divisional engineer’s phone. Danish Iqbal has been directed by the DCO to order preparation of lists of furniture and other equipment to the secretaries of the union councils.

The secretaries of the union councils have been further directed not to allow any former nazim or councilor in the union councils’ offices and to keep strict vigilance on the record of the union councils.
