QUETTA: German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler urged tourists to tell the world about the natural beauty of Balochistan and described the people of the province as very friendly and cooperative.

Visiting the Gems and Jewellery Training Centre here on Thursday, Mr Kobler said Germany had been contributing in the development of health, education and clean drinking water projects across Pakistan.

He advised the federal and provincial governments to focus on the declining water table. “The German government has been jointly working in all major fields here and we seek to contribute our efforts for the development of Pakistan,” he said.

Stressing on fostering tourism in Pakistan, Mr Kobler said the social media network was not enough to inform the world regarding natural beauty of Pakistan and Balochistan.

Centre’s principal Syed Bashir Agha briefed the ambassador regarding his centre.
