LAHORE: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) will establish three more state-of-the-art command and control centres in as many cities of Punjab. These centres being established under the public-private partnership are being set up in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Multan.

This was stated by PSCA Chief Operating Officer Akbar Nasir Khan while chairing the pre-bidding conference attended by the stakeholders at the PSCA Headquarters here at Qurban Lines on Tuesday.

The event was attended by 10 multinational and 13 national companies, including those related to the telecommunications.

Mr Khan briefed the participants of the meeting on the scope of the proposed projects whereas Planning and Development Department member Agha Waqar shared his thoughts about the projects with the stakeholders.

PSCA Chief Admin Officer Muhammad Kamran Khan and Chief Financial Officer Nisar Ahmed Cheema also had the floor describing various aspects of the collaboration. They elaborated that the PSCA had complete government backing and the institution would build command and control centres in all divisions of Punjab as per the vision of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
