KOHAT: Two persons were killed in an honor-related incident here on Monday, police said.

A man killed his sister and her alleged paramour after finding them in objectionable position inside the woman’s house in Noorabad area of Behzadi Chaka Kot.

Later, the police arrested the murderer. The bodies were shifted to women and children hospital, and after autopsy handed over to the relatives.

Mohammad Riaz Shaheed police station registered the case and began further investigations.

Meanwhile, a woman was killed over an old enmity in Sumari Payan area.

An FIR registered with the Lachi police stated that accused Jehanzeb Khan, Tariq Khan, Ishaq Khan and Norsheed Khan barged into the house of Abida Bibi and shot her dead. The murder was revenge to an earlier killing.

The Lachi police registered case against them on the complaint of the victim’s mother, Mumtaz Bibi.

The accused fled the scene. The police were raiding places to arrest the accused.

Meanwhile, the Jarma police on Monday arrested a woman along with her two male accomplices for trying to smuggle huge quantity of hashish from Khyber tribal district to southern areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through the Indus Highway.

The accused were named Sumera Bibi, Qismat Khan and Gul Raza, residents of Bannu district. The police also recovered 11,500 grams of hashish hidden in the secret cavities of the car.
