Nankana Sahib officially made district

SHEIKHUPURA, July 1: The Punjab government is making all out efforts to provide basic amenities and relief to masses without prejudice and discrimination. This was stated by Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat in Nankana Sahib on Friday at a ceremony held to officially declare it a district. The venue of the ceremony was, however, changed from railway garden to a marriage hall due to heavy rain.

Mr Raja was accompanied by provincial minister Rana Qasim Noon and Chaudhry Zaheer.
