DERA MURAD JAMALI: The Inspector General of Balochistan Police, Mr Mohsin Butt, reviewed the law and order situation during his visit to Sibi and expressed satisfaction on the performance of the police. He said efforts were being made to train police personnel on modern lines.

He said objectives of setting up the CTD was to fight terrorism. The IG denied presence of Daesh-like terrorist organisation in the province, but said there was evidence that banned sectarian organisation Lashkar-i-Jhangvi was using the name of Daesh to carry out its terrorist activities.

Former chief minister Mir Jam Muhammad Khan Jamali, CTD DIG Aitzaz Goraya, Nasirabad Range DIG Rao Munir Ahmed Zia, SSP of Nasirabad Irfan Bashir and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
