Six labourers who had undertaken a journey in search for the precious peridot stone have been missing for the past week due to heavy snowfall in Supat Valley, Kohistan — DawnNewsTV reported on Saturday.

Noor Niazi, cousin of one of the missing labourers, told DawnNewsTV that the area where the labourers went missing has become inaccessible as snowfall has surpassed 15 feet.

He said that the families of the missing men have not heard from them for a week.

Niazi and other family members urged the government to launch a rescue mission and evacuate the stranded labourers through the use of helicopters.
