Ethics

THIS is apropos the letter ‘TV and sex crimes’ (Jan 4). The writer suggested including sex awareness in the school curriculum. I believe children are immature and, as they say, ‘children are more likely to do what they are prohibited’.

So, in this case, we should focus more on ethics instead of giving them practical examples. Ethics must be a compulsory subject in all grades in schools. It is, of course, better to let children know what is good than what is bad.
